What a typical week looks like at ResetLife
The ResetLife timetable is structured to help participants build routine, connection and practical skills. All group sessions take place at First Step unless otherwise specified.
Monday
Early Recovery Skills (12:30–2:00pm)
Focus on building foundation skills, understanding triggers and developing safer routines.
Participants usually attend this group for the first 4 weeks.
Break (30 minutes – light refreshments provided)
Recovery Planning (2:30–4:00pm)
A space to plan ahead, set goals, identify challenges and build confidence.
This group runs for the whole duration of the 16-week intensive program.
Tuesday (online option)
Family & Friends Group – online (5:00–6:30pm)
Education and support for participants, partners, family members and other important people in the participant’s life.
Runs for the first 12 weeks. Participants choose to either attend the Tuesday online group OR Wednesday in-person group.
Wednesday
Family & Friends Group – in person (10:30am–12:00pm)
Same content as the online group, delivered on site at First Step.
Social Support Group (1:00–2:30pm)
For participants in weeks 13 and beyond. Focuses on connection, community and building confidence in day-to-day life.
Friday
Early Recovery Skills (12:30–2:00pm)
Continuation of Monday’s session for rolling intake participants.
Break (30 minutes)
Recovery Planning (2:30–4:00pm)
Individual sessions
In addition to group work, participants have:
- weekly 1:1 counselling with their primary therapist (50 minutes)
- 2 x family conjoint sessions with the family therapist (50 minutes each)
- optional peer support sessions with a qualified peer worker who has lived experience and has completed ResetLife.
Participants often create their own personalised weekly schedule, which they update as their needs and confidence grow.
