Marius is currently the CEO of VACRO. He previously led the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law at Monash University, transforming it into a globally respected hub for human rights policy, education, and research. He developed a passion for criminal justice through his work at the Castan Centre, introducing a policy focus on criminal justice and detention, and co-founding the Indigenous Group of Learning at Port Phillip Prison. Marius has worked as a lawyer in commercial firms, supported refugee communities in the Philippines, and managed development programs in Sudan and Eritrea. He is also a Board Member of the Disability Discrimination Legal Service.
